ON CAMPUS HOUSING

Premium Accommodation

Surrounded by lovely landscaped grounds, the premium accommodation offers uniquely designed air-conditioned bedrooms. Each bedroom has a double bed and shares an adjoining bathroom. A family may choose to have both bedrooms offering a private bathroom.

Traditional Accommodation

Bedrooms are available in a more casual, typical student residence building. Non air-conditioned rooms offer both single and double occupancy with one or two single beds. Private bathrooms are located across the hall from sleeping rooms.

MEALS

The Queen’s University dining hall offers up-todate cuisine in a marvelous facility which is in close proximity to the main campus residences. Special dietary requirements are available with advance written notice included on your application form.

SERVICES

• Residence Front Desk (Victoria Hall) open 24-hours offers a direct link to Campus Security

• Emergency medical services are available at nearby hospital

• Coin-operated washers and dryers available in residence buildings

• Campus shops accessible

NEW REQUIREMENTS FOR TRAVELERS

Land travel: From January 1, 2008 to summer 2008, U.S. citizens traveling to Canada via land or sea ports must present a government-issued photo ID such as a driver’s license in addition to proof of citizenship, such as a birth certificate. (A voter’s registration card and social security card are NOT considered to be proof of citizenship.) Children under the age of 16 do not require a government-issued photo ID. Passports are recommended.

PLEASE NOTE that the meal package starts with breakfast on Monday and ends with breakfast Saturday morning. Meals are available on a cash basis at the cafeteria.
